wow! the painting of the hollyhock flower is awesome - it reminds me a little of Daryll Trott, you remember the artist we used to carry at the avenue gallery? his work was amazing - all flowers - did you know he died? about two months after he visited our gallery in 2005 (or 2004, I can't remember) - anyway - this artist, Jane Freeman - is great. the detail is amazing - I also really like her painting "prize of the patch" - the cantalope on a glass dish...
